Recently I have been working with layering photographic prints in many different ways. These interventions into the physical print push at the flatness of the photograph and prod it toward a three-dimensional art object. I’m using this process to talk about family narratives and family secrets, and how these communal stories are created, recreated, and contested within lineages.
